Chicago Bears Game

We went to the Chicago Bears preseason game against the San Francisco 49'ers. We were very happy that the rain stayed away from the game! The Bears last 37-30...it looks like it will be a very long season for the Bears and their fans!

Saturday night

After a busy day, and some swimming in the pool...we went to a car show on the square. There were lots of very cool cars and trucks, but Sam & Luc loved seeing Herbie the Love Bug...and Lucas liked the monster truck that was there!

Saturday Morning

Cris was on a trip this weekend, so, in the morning Sam, Lucas and I went to the Farmers Market on the square, and the bookstore. Next we went to the Harley Davidson dealership. I am looking for a new helmet, so Lucas had to try on a couple too! Then we had some free lunch outside the dealership

Cubs vs. Cards

On Sunday, we went to Chicago Cubs vs. St. Louis Cardinals game at Wrigly Field. It could not have been more perfect! The weather was great, the kids enjoyed the atmosphere, and...the Cubs won! The last picture was taken in our garage when we got back home early Monday morning.

Fire in the sky

After a very stormy day, tonights sunset was unbelievable! I have never seen anything like this before...the picture does not due justice to what we witnessed!

New "tattoos"

Whole at the fair, the kids got some new ink! Lucas went with a flaming skull on his forearm, and Sam went with the word "Angel" on neck....I am still looking for a design!

2008 McHenry County Fair

On Sunday, we went to the county fair. I always have a good time watching the kids go on the rides, play the games, and checking out all of the livestock (the kids like the rabbits the best I think).

Party in Wisconsin

We went to a party in Wisconsin on Saturday. It was very nice being outside, having a couple of beers, and watching the kids play with all of the other kids and eating all the great food.
